ABOUT
MISSION AND HISTORY
The Tiny But Mighty Baby Foundation was started in 2021 to support research to improve the lives of people with intrauterine growth restriction, or IUGR. IUGR impacts approximately 10% of people in the developed world. Babies with intrauterine growth restriction are born smaller than they should be and are more likely to have health conditions after birth and throughout life.

Dr. Erin Zinkhan is a neonatologist who specializes in caring for sick, premature, and growth restricted newborns. She dedicated her academic career to discovering the ways growth restriction leads to health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and high cholesterol later in life.

Dr. Zinkhan wrote the book, Tiny But Mighty Baby: A Parents' Guide to Navigating Your Child's Diagnosis of Intrauterine Growth Restriction (available now on Amazon in paperback and Kindle), to help families feel empowered, informed, and engaged in caring for their tiny but might baby.
All proceeds from the book fund the Tiny But Mighty Baby Foundation to support research into improving the lives of people with growth restriction.
